The academic surfclub is an interuniversity programme which connects actively surfing students and likeminded interested in the sport. The club is devided into multiple local groups based at many different universitys throughout switzerland supervised by the parent organization called “Academic Surfclub Switzerland”. It is aimed at anyone who is matriculated in an institution of higher education and is interested in surfing, has always wanted to give it a shot or can simply identify themselves with the respective lifestyle. The locals groups organize events throughout the semester at there respective universities, the most important event in the club calendar being the surfcamp organised by the parent organisation before the beginning of the fall semester. We are accredited by various universitys and the swiss surfing association (SSA) and are continuously working with new companies and organizations too effectively familiarize our members with surfing.
